The APC town hall meeting in Onuimo LGA, on 27th October 2022, was hugely spiced up as thousands of Onuimo women thronged venue, in solidarity with governor Hope Uzodimma and all the APC candidates. This was made a possibility, following the successful organization of some women support groups, by the coordinator of Onuimo South development center, Lolo Nkiru Olivia Ijeoma (LSM)

Lolo Nkiru Ijeoma, who is also the coordinator of Hope Uzodimma women support Group and Umunwanyi Hajia Rabi Ibrahim in Onuimo LGA, successfully led members of the two structures to the rally. There, the women did what they know how to do best, as they beautified the scene with their colourful and adorning uniforms.

Their songs of solidarity to the state Leadership of APC and the party’s candidates were to topnotch. Indeed, the women groups, led by Lolo Nkiru Olivia Ijeoma, through their actions at the Onuimo APC town hall meeting, inspired other women of the LGA to maintain a strong affinity with the ruling party.

Going by what transpired at the town hall meeting-turned mega rally were anything to go by, then a greater percentage of the entire women folk in Onuimo LGA, shall massively support APC in the forthcoming general elections. There’s no gainsaying the fact that, women constitute a greater percentage of the voters’ population, hence they remain the core deciding factor in any electoral contest. Suffice it to say that Lolo Nkiru Olivia Ijeoma, is successfully capturing Onuimo LGA for APC, through the women.
