On Monday, Wike made this statement at a dinner and reception held in his honor in Port Harcourt to commemorate the “Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery.” The honor given to him by President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has been praised by Governor Nyesom Wike of the state of Rivers.

This was said by Wike on Monday night in Port Harcourt at a dinner and reception held in his honor to commemorate the “Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery.”

The governor of Rivers dedicated the honor to God and credited the state’s assistance and encouragement for the administration’s achievements in infrastructure development.

So, he thanked everyone and dedicated the prize to God Almighty and to everyone who had prayed for us to accomplish what we had. The honor is not mine. To each of you, it is. If the ruling party can say you did well, who is that person, I feel proud to ask? Allow them to come here and campaign”
