Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has claimed his team made it “easy” for Arsenal in their 3-2 defeat on Sunday.
The Gunners took a three-goal lead in the half, before Spurs fought back with two goals in the second half.Ultimately, it was not enough, as Postecoglou’s men chances of qualifying for the Champions League took a dent.
Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports, said: “We allowed them way too easy access to our goal in the first half and it is not acceptable at this level and we paid the price.“We could not come out here in the second half and not give our supporters a little bit of hope, but it still very disappointing“We are still not as resilient as we can be especially in the transition moments or set pieces. We allow them far too easy access to our goal. They are a good side and they will punish you if you do not show that steel protecting your goal.”
