ONUIMO 2023: BETWEEN THE FACTS,THE DESPERATION AND DECEPTION EMBEDDED IN THE GREEN VEGETABLE COMEDY(PART 1)

It is often easy to stoke emotions and sentiments in matters that require sound logic, objective reasoning and in-depth considerations of the existent incontrovertible policies and factors, in the locality in discuss. Particularly, when it becomes more difficult to establish what is true from that which is falsely peddled and accepted across the unregulated media space.

Ordinarily, desperation could be said to be inseparable from an average Nigerian politician of recent times, especially those who are gunning for elective positions. But those who had become extremely desperate that, they freely question our common intelligence with alacrity, shouldn’t be spared, one bit.

The mess in which a certain 2023 state house of Assembly candidate, for Onuimo state constituency and his few sets of hired limited-in-thinking mercantilists have found themselves could have been avoided, if only the chief comedian with the humbug green vegetable hit track had bridled the desperation to realize his political ambition at all costs, in line with obtainable and generally operative status of our clime. Ask those praise singing little birds around him today, who never found him and his “special plan” worthy before the primary elections in their party, if vegetable isn’t a product of vegetation, and understand why they are ashamed of the first nomenclature.

They are ashamed of being reminded that vegetable is a product of vegetation and agro generally, because they understand that the said “plan” itself is a grandiose crappy comedy. And this particular set of pay-as-you-go social media discord tune singers are left with no other option, other than to helplessly mew on, for need to keep fleecing on their new client. Just as they mindlessly syphoned other aspirants before the Onuimo PDP primaries, with their watery praises.

Normally, one would have ignored these bunch of jokers to nosedive into the known end, if only they had been carrying out those entertainment scripts of theirs, without ceaselessly chiding other focused candidates as to be “empty” with “common” promises. But expecting such level of responsibility and self components from a group of reneges, led by an arrogant theorist, who knows that the battle is already won and lost, is akin to searching for a virgin in a brothel.

Definitely, desperation alone couldn’t have been the sole propelling reason why a character, who aspires to be a legislator at the state house of Assembly level in Nigeria would come up with an obvious hoax, poorly plagiarized and distorted from an executive (presidential) campaign manifesto, as an agenda, to hoodwink the undiscerning public in a Local Government Area. Practically, the fact remains that, they are as well driven by deceit. To them, churning out vague statistical data laced with all sorts of intended theoretical sophistry would get ndi Onuimo entrust their mandate in their hands. Joke of the century.

Yesterday, Professor Chukwuma Soludo who is an executive governor of a state was their avowal, today, the Federal government of Malaysia yesteryears is and next, their alibi could be Dr. Michael Okpara of the old eastern region who established Adapalm as the then head of the old eastern region. Intelligent persons keep seeing the non connectivity between the feasible constitutional authorities that these offices they had always tried to use as their unintelligent citations/shield and that of a state house of Assembly legislative office, in this dispensation.

Their cheerleader had seriously feigned an unbelievable heightened level of ignorance on the principles of separation of powers, their dependant roles, respective jurisdiction and constitutional limitations not just in Nigeria, but all over the world.
Should one really waste his precious time erasing their purposeful ignorance and sheer deceit?
Certainly no, because they have chosen to dig further whilst in a pit. And it’s good enough for other candidates who have succinct messages of practical hope, direct impact and succour for the masses, which are in line with the core basic legislative functions of a lawmaker.

By the time this very set of few perplexed elements would have realized that, ndi Onuimo who are earnestly yearning for basic amenities of life, attraction of road infrastructure, improved health care delivery, financial empowerments, skill acquisition and continued educational support have no interest in unprepared elements, who intend lavishing their collective fate for the next four years, in experimenting on an unrealistic and non sustainable paper work that isn’t within the reach of the office which they seek, it would have been completely over for them.
